She makes sure all the animals are healthy and makes the trips back and forth from the vet and PetSmart. She is also the picture-taker master! Jodi has several dogs of her own named Towser and Kafka, and has adopted two dogs from Rescue Farm named Charlie and Bruiser.
Matt
PresidentMatt is the resident janitor and mechanic at Rescue Farm. If anything breaks down or needs repaired in any way, Matt is the man for the job. Matt found the new location in Poland for Rescue Farm and took care of all the paperwork and hard labor involved in moving the rescue in early April 2006. Matt also cares for the resident horse and cow and walks all the dogs daily. Matt shares his life with his wife and his dog friends Macy and Sweet Pea.
Lauren
Off-site Events Coordinator, Petfinder Upkeeper, and Puppy Fosterer
We met Lauren as a Graduate Student at Indiana University and she has been dedicating every spare moment to Rescue Farm. She coordinates adoptions and getting potential adopters to events. She also keeps our Petfinder animal listings updated and always has room to foster a puppy or two (or three, or four...). Lauren lives with her four dog "kids" Ollie, Scout, Lil' Fry and Quintin.
Melanie
Melanie has been volunteering at the Terre Haute and Avon Petsmarts and special adoption events since early 2009. She is helping with the website and helps with fostering dogs when she can. She has been an animal lover all her life and loves the opportunity Rescue Farm has given her to help homeless animals find their forever homes. She lives in Bloomington with her husband Andy, Pit Bull Turner (adopted from Rescue Farm) and four cats, Jake, Joey, Miko and Mocha.
Heather
Heather has been a wonderful friend to Rescue Farm. Not only does she groom all our dogs to make them look fantastic, but she fosters numerous dogs each year. Heather and her husband Dennis share their home with their dogs Sharky, Bebe, and 2 dogs they adopted from Rescue Farm. Heather is the all-around jokester at the rescue and her happy outlook on life spreads to everyone she meets.
